Via Dolorosa

Via Dolorosa (Latin for "Way of Grief") is a street in the Old City of Jerusalem. Traditionally, it is held to be the path that Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion. The above picture is the current Via Dolorosa.

Passion is the technical term for the suffering and Agony of Jesus that led directly to the Crucifixion, a central Christian event.
